The Greippi song you mentioned was awesome!! But the other trance song could be a simpler song to start with as a reference. It all depends what you're aiming for...
There's a lot going on in marble blast but I tried
Imo the best way to go is to study a song that you like. Understand the structure!
How is a beginning structured?
How many bars?
how is the transition into next section made, what gives the correct feeling of a transition and over how many bars,
when should a breakdown change come in, again how many bars, why does it feel right?
What role does effects play?
Is there a signature instrument?
Aso..
Simply ask each part of the song a question, and understand how the answer leads to a great song.
Structure can help a lot and after worth things starts to be more understandable and it is easier to start making own ideas work instead of using those the one in the study-song.
I totally agree with musicbear. The structure can teach you a lot. And I think you did a good job with your song. I liked how you built up the intro in tiny pieces. I didn't see it coming at first, but then it all came together. Nice. And we even got a little improvisation at the end!

Another thing you might consider if you're going for trance is the rhythm. You'll often hear a steady 4/4 kick, open hat between beats and closed hat on the 1/16 notes. It's like a train riding on a railroad. No jazz, no surprises. Tim Trance uses this rhythm almost the entire song with different variations, like adding a snare, playing bass instead of open hi hat, or letting the synths do all the 1/16 notes (probably by using some LFO or delay).

Of course there's a ton of effects and gradual changes on top to make things more interesting. Phaser, flanger, reverb and echo delay will make anything sound interesting. If you want a prime example of that, checkout graybelt:

8 lines, for "Melody and harmony for beginners". And remix 30 lines, I fail to understand. but you can go back to the beginning. and I like greybell, 7 line know structure
