Wie bekomme ich meine alten Vst in Lmms zum Laufen, VeSTige ist ja nicht mehr Enthalten in der aktuellen Version.
Bitte mal Rückmeldung dazu.

How do I get my old Vst to work in Lmms, VeSTige is no longer included in the current version.
Please provide feedback on this.

Should you by chance be the same person that asks this question on Discord?
I explained that you cant use WINE9, you need to use the version before.
You should not use MINT-distro LMMS, but instead use the AppImage of 1.2.2 from DL-page.
In fact AppImage of 1.3 is fine too, and have more features.
Please try that.
If that is not working please post your:
* Name of your Operative System (Windows/ Linux/ Mac) And subtype (Home' 'Mint' '10.13' aso)
* lmms version, and the site where you got it from

Let us know the outcome
System: Linux Mint
LMMS 1.2.2 from Application management
Talk to the mint people who compile LMMS for you, or use this version:

And did AppImage 1.3 work on your MINT ?
It works with the image but shouldn't be in the spirit of the program inventor, right? It is included in the Windows version and not in the Linux version? This should be improved slowly.

AppImage is the way that Linux is supported. Cant see any change in that.
AppImage is the way Linux is supported. I don't see any change in this.
I feel like reading and thinking aren't really your strengths here. It's about WHY isn't VeSTige implemented correctly in the PROGRAM WHY do you have to use an EXTRA image for it???
If the package builders from mint, had compiled LMMS right, you would have had Vestige in LMMS. :)

Because most distro mess this up, the LMMS devs made an appimage version of LMMS.

https://appimage.org/

So you have two options, complain to the mint packagebuilders or use the appimage version.

A third option would be to compile LMMS yourself. Unless you very familiar with Linux, I would not advice this.

My advice use the appimage version, or go to a mint forum, and ask there who compiles LMMS for you.
Then explain Vestige is missing.

I am on openSUSE (tumleweed) and use a special music repository for openSUSE, that why I have Vestige working.
Its like the Kx repositories for debian of which you might have heard?

Sie haben also zwei Möglichkeiten: Beschweren Sie sich bei den Paketerstellern von Mint oder verwenden Sie die Appimage-Version.
Gerne, gib mir die Adresse dann bekommen die was aufś Dach.
