So using samples. It is pr design that LMMS does not natively support using MP3 as samples. MP3 is lossy, and you just dont get the best sound if you use a lossy sample.
Supported are *.wav *.ogg *.ds *.flac *.spx *.voc *.aif *.aiff *.au *.raw
There are two ways to use samples in LMMS
1) AudioFileProcessor AFP
AFP is the right choice for short samples
2) SampleTrack
SampleTrack is the best choise for long samples, like a vocal or a fill of percussion.
SampleTrack also let you use LMMS as a Looper-software like Sony-looper. That is show in the video
