MIDI does not work correctly

I recently started having a really strange problem with MIDI control. All of a sudden it no longer works. Only the one E key and the drum pads are sending a signal. I have 2 midi keyboards (Axiom 25 and Axiom 61) and it's the same with both. I have a 2nd set (Computer and MIDI Keyboard) in a different location which works. So I have adjusted all the settings again, but the error remains. (By the way, my lmms runs on UBUNTU.) I am completely at a loss as to how I could solve the problem...

All of a sudden it no longer works

Computers dont do that. 'Something' must have 'changed', but it can be next to impossible to figure out what. Sometimes it can be an other program that was installed, or even absurd things like a cable that was moved /pulled out and re-inserted, even when the pc was not even on.
At least you know that it is not your MIDI-cable and not the controller, because you can use both on a different pc, that rules out a ton of possibles.
In the end the best thing to try is to reinstall 1.3-Alpha-AppImage :

Do backup everything in your user library before you un-install!

Hi musikbear and thanks for the quick reply. I had already done the reinstallation. However, it is version 1.2.1+dfsg1 from the Ubuntu Store. The USB cable has been changed. I'll try the version in your link tonight and get back to you. Thank you very much!

I have just reset the MIDI keyboard and now everything is working again. It was obviously not the LMMS. Sorry and thhanks.
