Vst3 files,,

Working on a theme for LMMS? Post progress and get feedback.
Are there ANY plugins for lmms that can import vst3 files? from a bit of looking around I haven't seen anyone else who hasn't just been blown off about vst3 file support and adding it to lmms- Especially with them being from 2018 or so https://19216801.onl/ https://routerlogin.uno/ .

Context: Was watching a video with vsts that seem incredible, want to try them in lmms, only to find out I can't import them.

I may just be hecka dumb, but I'm really hoping I can use a vst3 here because they seem a lot nicer, yknow? ;v;b

im REALLY new to vsts and file managing and music making and instrument finding in general, and I tend to hyperfixate when I hear about EVEN MORE NEW STUFF (when i have all the instruments and fx i need in one place and honestly should be grateful i can use them in the first place) but if I can't get it to work and have wasted hours and hours trying to i get frustrated and sad ;;

Either way, that's why i'm looking for help here haha.

I have not installed it, but i think it must be used an an instrument, so loaded through Vestige-stub, So where did you install Element?
From the Vestige-stub, Browse to that folder

yes indeed... basically we are talking about VST3... to be able to use them on LMMS from windows, as far as I know, the only way is to use Element... which works. From Element I can launch Kontakt8 and from Kontakt8 I can launch "the free orchestra" (very fine instruments). In any case Element can bring any VST3 to LMMS by loading it on Vestige as if it were a VST2... the problem is that searching all over the hard disk I did not find the 2 "dll" files that should be there and that are shown in the various tutorials I saw on youtube. I also wrote there but I did not receive an answer.

So you have never used any VST3???

I don't know how to thank you for your availability... take your time, and when it happens you'll let me know :-)

you can stop the investigation if you want my friend, I found by myself an alternative solution that weighs only 407KB of a stunning simplicity

Please tell that sounds interesting!

well, surfing the web at the end I found this forum
https://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=560297

scroll down the comments to the one from user "POLAC" and click on the link... the download will start automatically, 400kb of a zip with dll files that you can extract and put wherever you want (I put them in a subfolder apart from the effects folder)

once you've done this you can open LMMS and load a VST3 as if it were a VST2... I don't know how it's possible but it does everything... I'm using the free orchestra via Kontakt8. When I click on the green Vestige folder and choose one of those dll files, a drop-down menu opens where there are all the VST3 instruments that I downloaded... in my case there are only 3, for now, but I think that if I had had others it would have found those too... honestly I can't explain how... if I had a lot of money I would pay it, this POLAC, to program a DAW in the style of this wrapper and I would call it Leonida, because it is so spartan but effective :-D
