How install VST ob-xd on linux ubuntu

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.

Hello, I'm new to Linux and I want to make music, but I don't know how to install the VST called OB-Xd. You can download this plugin for Linux from their official website, but it comes with many files, and I'm not sure which one to place in the VST folder.

OB-Xd 3.so should be the VST2 plugin, should be loadable using VeSTige if you are on nightly. Iirc 1.2.2 can only load windows plugins.
There is also a standalone executable in the zip to run the synth without a host, and VST3 is another plugin format that lmms doesnt support yet.

Yes as Trancewolfe says you need to use the developer-Nightly ed. of LMMS. That is however not guaranteed to be stable! I dont recommend Nightly for real production. It is available for all that wants to help the project as testers and for bug-hunting. That should be understood if you decides to use Nightly for production!
I recommend Alpha3.0 and since you are on LINUX you must use the AppImage:

Besides that, since you are new in Forum
