Hi diiz,
The programme was installed to the default directory as you suggested.
So dug out my old laptop which runs Vista, installed LMMS and it worked perfectly! So had to be a software problem on my newer laptop with Windows 7.
After a bit of experimenting, I uninstalled some Audio Conversion software, retired LMMS and it ran fine.
PROBLEM SOLVED!!! :>)
