We have an issue with our user accounts where all of the email addresses are wrong and we're not sure how best to handle it.

Are you familiar with moderation or forum management? Would you be interested in helping out?

Glad to help.
Sadly, I have no forum management of forum moderation skills.
Moderating the forum might be easy for me.
But if it comes to scripting or programming, I almost totally suck at that.
I've barely passed beginner level in C# language in Unity.
But I'm Still learning though.

If you want me to moderate the forums, from "trolls," etc. I wouldn't mind doing that.
But the programming/scripting portion, I'm still almost, unfamiliar with, and still learning.

Yeah, just moderation type stuff but you'd have access to reset email addresses which only comes with god mode.

Ok, God mode activated. "Administration Control Panel (ACP)" Link at the very bottom of the page.

Warning, this gives you access to do much more than email addresses. Just click "Manage Users" and type in "tresf" for example. I appreciate you stepping up and helping.

When we release the site links to facebook there are likely to be people chiming in needing an email and password reset. Your help with this is greatly appreciated.

Okay I typed in tresf and it took me to a page with lots of LMMS users.
What do you want me to do from here Mr. tres?

Once you figure out how to open a user's profile you can see the email address. Pick any one that's not the 5 people that have their accounts fixed and see how the addresses are pointing to bogus sourceforge accounts?

When the forums go live and people want to keep their old name someone will have to fix their email address and optionally give them a temporary password reset as well.

The more people we have on here and on facebook with the ability to fix this the better.
