Thanks for providing the video, but unfortunately this doesn't work on Ubuntu 14.04.

Indeed, as the bug reports state (thanks!) this seems to be a screen redraw issue that the "Show PAD..." toggling helps with.

Oh well, I can get the presets (and even preview them) from the left column palette. Great (thanks for the tip whoever it was)!

I just stumbled on this bug ? with my selfcompiled lmms 1.1.2 on openSUSE 13.1 64 bit.

The hack works for me though, untill I close the windows, and I have to do it again,
