I have exactly the same problem.

Is it necessary to use VST for DSKMusic .dlls? Is there an alternative container?

DSK music dlls are VSTis. In LMMS they need to run in Vestige. But I regularly use several of them with no problems. What is your computer/operating system and exactly which VSTs are you having problems with.

Some DSK are very large, and works 'slough-ly', or not at all. See if the one you want to use is in this list:

Unfortunately, the project loads up to 85% and then freezes - I rebooted, as per instructions.

Now I can't open the project at all. Any suggestions?


PS. Apart from this, LMMS is wonderful.

I have an issue where after a VST crashes LMMS, I can't load in the project file due to the VST being the first thing to load

Wooo this is a year old - i cant figure out, how it got past me, but if you see this Martin John, i apologize
I hope you found out, and are enjoying lmms. Sorry.

Also, note to devs - for some reason LMMS crashes when loading old pre-1.2.0RC2 projects in 1.2.0RC2 containing VSTs of any sort.

EDIT: Uninstalled and re-installed. That fixed the problem.

please post your:
* Name of your Operative System (Windows/ Linux/ Mac) And subtype (Home' 'Mint' '10.13' aso)
* lmms version, and the site where you got it from
