LMMS 1.2 beta on Linux (ubuntu 14.04) with Carla and VST

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
I've tested this version further. On another computer with the same build, I can export correctly with LMMS 1.2, so maybe it's my sound card on this one (but again it's working fine with LMMS 1.13)

I wonder if it will be of any value to make a compilation of all these various speciel fixes for various distros. I have a nasty feeling, that one that works for one person, simply wont do it for another, because of some weird tiny difference in the linux installation :/
Have you taken this up with your pack-man?
Its impossible to find the 'solution' -I doubt ONE single exists
The problem as I see it, almost nobody installs lmms on a fresh installed Linux.

So there will be libs (dependecies) on one system that wont exist on another systems.
The reason for the crash is already known: I was using Jack, and it's in the bug tracker. However, even with alsa on my main computer (the one I used to compile LMMS), there are some glitches when exporting audio. On the other computer, it seems there are not, but I haven't tested enough for a definitive judgement. And on this other computer, the audio card is better, so maybe there are not xruns or something like that.
