No, not compression.. Is necessary?
Sorry, as in my cheap headphones, the kick sounds strangely, I was wondering if, at certain times of the track, the kick was not too compressed.

But, I just downloaded a mp3 version of the track, I opened it in Audacity, and from what I see, now I wonder if in your project, several instruments, including the kick, have a volume too high . I think the master channel gauge saturates, the signal reaches the limit of the red zone. In other words, your signal is not compressed, it is hard limited, the signal is clipped.

Compression can be a solution. Decrease the volume of the instruments too.
