I really advise you to save as MMP files!
Do not save only in MMPZ! -Witch
is the default file-type
MMP files we can rescue in case of weirdness -Its not possible with most mmpZ

What is the advantage of .mmpz on .mmp? (why save in .mmpz instead of .mmp?)

Thanks. So, it would be this compression operation that prevents the recovery of a corrupt project (?).

There's probably someone more qualified to answer this, but *.mmp is basically just a xml file you can open in a text editor and fix by hand if you know what you are doing. Try opening one in your favorite editor and have a look.

Indeed, I just drag and drop an .mmp file in the notepad of Windows. I did not know we could do that. Now projects seem even more difficult to read and to understand

Very good point, I did not think this through. I should probably edit my post before someone does it?

You can also use the MuseScore-formatted files produced by this app to share your sheet music on the musescore.com website and get feedback from other musicians about it. There's also a good support forum on a separate website
