I load the VST blank too. It's just that since the VST Instruments were in the sample bank, I thought maybe dragging would work (like it does for normal samples) so I tried it out, but it didn't work.
I moved the config file out of the folder it was in, and ran the install as an administrator, yes.

I am running out of good ideas. I simply cant figure out, what is different by you, than everyone else.
is the
factory installation of lmms on your harddrive placed in
Program files or in
Program files (x86)
