Hi, I used a standard usb pc format external keyboard to press ctrl. It just works as intended. My old internal Mac keyboard never understands ctrl and drag inside lmms,

Try that usb keyboard fix.

I found that on my mac laptop holding the apple(command) key AND the "control" key while dragging the mouse seemed to work for me!
