Do you have any idea why you have repos for both 'jessie' (stable branch of Debian 8), and 'squeeze' (stable branch of Debian 6)? I don't use Debian directly, or AVLinux, but I think AVLinux 6 is based on Debian 6, which carries the old 0.4 version of LMMS. Is it possible that you manually added the latest Jessie repo? The 'Debian' way of adding newer (and less stable) packages to a stable branch like Squeeze is to use 'backport' repos, but I can't see a newer version of LMMS in the squeeze backports... I could be wrong.
If you are unfamiliar with the different Debian branches, it suffices to say that AVlinux seems to target very stable version of packages. Not bleeding edge enough for me.
If you can't figure out how to add a backport with LMMS 1.0 in it, or compile, then there is the nuclear option of dumping AVLinux entirely for KXstudio. It's more bleeding edge than AVLinux. But bugs are handled very swiftly (falkTx in particular is very responsive). Or use a newer Debian 8.
