I agree, I didn't want to talk about the guitar, I was just saying that if the basic FX were decent I wouldn't even need to use external ones. So How do I understand why I don't see external FX?
One thing I noticed is that the names of the effects that I can apply in the list do not coincide with the names of the dll files that I find in the folder. By the way, I've been downloaded your equalizer and I sow his graphic into LMMS... but as usual as instrument because as effect I cannot see him

No not normal.
Search your pc for the file .lmmsrc.xml
Observe the dot.
You cant delete or rename this file, but Move it to another folder!
Now restart lmms
You should be asked to enter new settings in accordance with your installation. If this fails, upload your .lmmsrc.xml, and we will take a look on it

But once I did this, it tells me that a recovery file has been found and asks me if I want to recover it or delete it permanently. I replied to delete it... but instead the old file that I had moved to another folder was still there, so I deleted it manually.

Unrelated. The recovery-file is for project security, and as you have one, you have not saved the last project you edited, before closing lmms.

I tried to copy the Nyqist-EQ.dll file both in the folder (c: - user - me - documents - lmms - plugins) and in the folder (c: - user - me - documents - lmms - plugins - LADSPA) but it doesn't appear in the list... but I can see it if I load it as a vst tool, but so obviously nothing can be heard

Yes but you have an error in the file you send me

Your plugins-folder is still pointing at C:/Program Files/VstPlugins witch is illegal because it is inside Program Files!
So you first need to make notice of where you have placed the plugin-dlls! You say that you have made a subfolder (c: - user - me - documents - lmms - plugins)
I will suggest you to change that to
c: - user - me - documents - lmms - VSTeffectPlugins
That will be more informative when you need to add new VST-plugins later.
You should then move all the VSTplugin dlls you have -also NyqistEQ.dll to that folder.
And now you need to change that incorrect linked C:/Program Files link :
Open lmms
Open Settings
In tab Path the second from top VST plugins Directory must be changed
Click on the folder-symbol to the right and browse to
c: - user - me - documents - lmms - VSTeffectPlugins
Select it
Save settings -eg click Ok
Restart lmms
Open any instrument, and see what you now have on the FX-tab
It must be correct now...
