Oh, I forgot to mention, in some cases, it might not be the volume.
Sometimes, adding too much Reverb or Chorus Flanger on bell or sound, can cause a sound, to be loud and overpowering. Which in turn, causes alot of unwanted build up. Which causes sounds, to drown out other sounds and instruments.
So, if you did add a too much Reverb or Chorus Flanger, that could be the cause.

And in some other cases, it could be a combination of too much Volume, added together with too much Reverb or Chorus Flanger.

Progressive House would be nice. But I dont know the differences between all the houes genres.
