12.1 is the opensuse version. It sounds like there is something wrong in the opensuse package. I'm not using opensuse myself so I don't know the install process through the package manager but It's the version of lmms you get from the package manager without any development repositories engaged that I would like to know.

the problem is I use lmms's version and after I install it never shows up or works
