Hey, no problem man! I guess Owallgren answered your other question, but I'm glad I could help!

I created a soft link...
woo -wait a min, :O
brilliant! Though i do not have a single flac file in any folder of my WINDOWS! 32 lmms 0.4.13 installation, there is in fact a dll libFLAC-8.dll -AND! most important
The hydrogen *.flac samples DO work in lmms ;D !
Great new lib available
Are there any flac files in your default installation? (or is it some you have found yourself)
If so, what OS version of lmms are you using?
I just ask out of curiosity, and for later reference and perhaps a page should be inserted in the wiki..

Thanks for the head up!

Ok. I'll wait... the flac files in my setup was in fact from hydrogen. But at least they work fine... ;)
I've found no default flac files in there. I'm usint Mint 10(Ubuntu Maverick).
Yeah there are .flac files in Hydrogen. Actually when I heard there were any .flac files at all I was a bit skeptical of how it would sound, although it's only because I have very little experience with that format. I know the format is supposed to be better than MP3 but I've heard only one .flac based remix album and it sounded horrible and distorted, the MP3 version that came with it was much cleaner. Fortunately the samples in Hydrogen sound perfect.

Huh... There were .flac files on mine if I remember right, but I guess it's because I'm using WIndows. Maybe the file types vary by OS?

Here they are, no flac in there:
http://lmms.git.sourceforge.net/git/git ... c9;hb=HEAD

I just looked in my files and the TR808EmulationKit folder does have flac in there.

I think that's from the Hydrogen kits that you copied into your LMMS sounds.

Ah that must be the reason since I'm not using Hydrogen right now.
