Oh yes i do also really want to know if you have portAudio and -not- SDL on a windows-pc.

Can you try it in a different program, WMP or perhaps Audacity ? Do the basic LMMS samples (in My Samples) play normally? Try something like latin_guitar01.ogg.

BTW what operating system and LMMS version are you using ? Seems like there's something very odd going on.
