Tempo being automatically reset to 140

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.

Rightclick the TEMPO/BMP, chose 'song global Automation' and check for that.

Thank you, musikbear -- I had the same problem (importing midi, actually, into 0.4.15 in 32-bit Windows 7) (although my tempo kept resetting to 56 bpm), and "song global automation" was the cause.

To add one more detail for anyone else running into this, if you don't have experience using global automation, the quickest way to resolve this is to right-click Tempo/BPM (as musikbear suggested) but then go ahead and click "Remove song-global automation". There are a couple of options for editing the global automation manually, but if you haven't intentionally put it in place, you probably don't want it there anyway. ;)

Yep. Good advice. 8-)
These methods do work.

PS: I know this is an old post.
But lmms users should read this.
I am sure about everybody will run into this. It has happened to me too.
Bump. :)
I found that if you right-click the tempo/bpm number, and then clicked "remove song-global automation," the problem was solved.

Just for anyone who still is struggling with the problem. :D
