If you have tried entering settings in 0.4.14 and background artwork, no VST-plugin directory and no default soundfont. I don´t know why 0.4.14 crashes.

To solve your MIDI-problem in 0.4.13 you of course need a working soundfont: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B-1kciT ... sp=sharing Find the folder with Chaos.sf2 in the settings of 0.4.13. I suggest putting the .sf2 file on the same harddrive. It does not matter if they are both internal, but if you use external harddrives they can be real slow and might cause a problem.

Now you should be able to import MIDI with 0.4.13, of course unless the MIDI is broken. https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B-1kciT ... sp=sharing

Remember to use the "IMPORT" button in LMMS not the open-button. Choose your MIDI file, and it should work.

ok what i did i extracted folder from the link above i found there some files i pasted them to lmms folder than in settings in sound font path i seth it to file GeneralUser GS Live-Audigy v1.44.sf2

and it still crash when loading mids

v14 dont crashes but freeez when entering settings


anyway i downloaded chaos v20 from link you put above and also downloaded devanand happy and set that sf2 file path i settings of lmms at soundfont and gues what ? still crashes when loading any mid file even that devanand happy

ANY midifile.. ??? Or have you just attempted to load one specific midi over and over ???

you or someone else posted above link to mid file i try that and still dont work i have over 10k mids so i think its not problem with all of them (was trying over 50 from differenet folders)

i believe im am waisting your and other ppls time here cause i have 2 hdds with different windows xp installed on it (1 almost clean installation 2nd is used allot) so allot of programs are installed on 2nd hdd but on both i have same problems with lmms 13 and 14

i think im missing something and i dont know what well i got service pack i got sound card drivers i even have net framework but maybe im missing something ?

i got 2 ideas

try to think what else i could install what you have and i didnt mention that could make my llms work normal (well working normall with mid chrases exception on v13 and freez when entering settings in v14)

can any 1 here zip his lmms folder and upload it on any hosting site ? for example http://www.zippyshare.com/ and paste link to it here

maybe that would fix my problem maybe im missing some files
cause as much im full of thanks for your time guys and happy you try to help me i think it cant be helped and i just need to wait for v15 to everything work for me

1 thing that i can think of is worng

i dont install lmms to default folder
on both windows i installed lmms to

C:\Programy\Linux MultiMedia Studio\

but it have no special characters so i dont know if it realy matters
