Midi not recording

Is there an ETA on this fix? I'm trying to recompile with the changes posted by sforis, but am hitting some roadblocks with Qt. Thanks.

LMMS 0.4.9 records Vestige perfectly and works well. Even though other people say get updated 0.4.15 (which DOES NOT WORK - ironic), I say stick with 0.4.9. Also, before you can get Vestige working on this version, just right click on lmms, go to Properties, then Compatibility tab. Tick 'Run this program in compatibility mode for' (should say Windows XP (Service Pack 3). Also, tick 'Run as Administrator' and press okay. Now no more problems with LMMS after this!

That's really a good idea to first record onto the working piano roll, and it works too!

You should not use the zasfx-virtual keyboard at all, but if you for some reason like to 'mouse play' on the key-board, you do have to use the LMMS-UI (Here i must strongly urge you to learn the notes on your pc-kb, because you can do harm to your motor-skills, with excessive mouse-micro-manipulations!) ...But there is absolutely no difference from using the LMMS-UI kb, and the zasfx-kb's
The outputs are identical.
If you can outline any benefits from using the zasfx kb, please do.

If you play notes with the mouse or with the pc keyboard, you need to see them graphicaly: in a virtual keyboard, like when you play in a real piano.

You understand, it is not the way you play that it is important(you can play with 2 or 1 hand, or cross hands when playing). The ZynAddSubFX virtual keyboard offers the possibility to see clearly the notes played.

(also, the littles virtual keyboards that came with the effects plugins, do not serve, they are to small, to see something.)

I do understand, but zasfx-kb is unfortunately not 'connected' to the midi-note-pickup ('recording')
But the large kb in piano-roll IS active as you play on the pc-kb!
Does it confuse you that you only see parts of it and that it is vertical?
I must say that i doubt a wish for a virtual large horizontal extra kb, can get any signicant number of 'likes', but you most welcome to add it to the 'Wish-list'
