I stumbled upon this vsti, works great in lmms, figured it might help you with Jarre sounds

Comes with pretty good presets too. The GUI is a bit wonky under Linux though.

I have not given up, but I need to learn some basic synthesizer stuff first.

How to operate the triple oscillator ( getting there) and zynaddsubFX.

I have also listened to some life performances of j.m.jarre, oxygene 4 , and some version I have at my pc..

That is helping allot. With some recordings its much easier to distinguish what the different sounds are. :)

I would have used Zyn Add Sub FX for the instrument sound.

The beat is 4/4 but it starts off beat, difficult.
