Hi, I'm new to this thread, I'm listening to the version of the song that's on page 9...

Here's what I would do if I had a copy of that mmp file:

-Add c* saturator to piano, aiming for a "vintage sample" kind of sound
-Re-pitch the hihat, kick and snare, maybe add fine-tuned, very short calf reverb to hihat and snare
-Put a peak controller on the kick and have it duck the instrument parts by different amounts
-Add various stutter effects to the vocal samples and use them to add interest
-Have the patterns on the piano switch over to other, new instruments
-Add additional percussion patterns to enhance the progression of the song

Yeah, as far as I'm concerned, you don't pitch percussion.

What do you think happens when you sample a drum loop, and speed it up or slow it down?

I think I found a better way to get a more fuller piano sound, instead of the saturator.

I cloned the track and did some eq and reverb change, to make the two identical tracks, less identical.

The saturation plugin does not really do any good to this piano vst.

If I don't succeed in making a good piano sound in Synth 1.
Then, I may have to download that Piano 1 vst.
Hopefully, it runs on this PC I'm using.

Yep.
I understand why the both of you said that and were surprised at that statement.
It does sound kinda outworldly.

I haven't tried that technique, on percussion sounds, especially on Hi hats, in a very long time.
But believe it or not, it does work well in some interesting cases.
And sometimes, gives some pretty interesting results.
It's difficult to explain.
