Trance trouble

Good. If you want to finish the wip and added a suspence breakdown and then really made it culminate in a huge buildup with a euphoria part, then you have a whole track. The wibe is great.

Yeah that's what the track needs. I can't remember exactly what link it was, but one piece of you're feedback made me realize this.

It needs more build up.

This sounds really good.
And proves, that you have improved much.

The only thing missing, is the rising build up effect, (normally followed with a drum roll), into a more exciting continuation of the repeating melody.
And the pad sound, should build up and get a tad bit louder, after a while.

But then again, forget what I said, it sounds really good.
I really enjoyed listening to it.

We are on the same page, its not finished yet.

I am gonna try to have a more simple melody when It starts ( less notes) and then on the end maybe more notes.
And between I am thinking about beyond the stars.

Did a bit of work on beyond the stars, and noticed I had fixed the bells already, but had totally forgotten I had found something I liked. (rhythm of the bells)

Not sure how much more effort I want to put into it. On the bright site though, It's almost finished.

Although there are no booms(yet?) , I have added something at the spots suggested by musicbear.

Did a bit of polishing on fade ins and the intro to some breaks. Worked on the clap.

Feedback needed.

This is what I got now, very interested in what you guys think.

I have two elements I would like you guys to focus on.
The variations. One is more and more notes into a kind of arpeggio. Not sure I like that ( the arpeggio part ).
The second variation, also has a bit of melody and first a part with a question, then same part but with the answer.

The answer seen to break the trance a bit ? Or is it me?
Which variation do you guys like best and second which one is more fitting for trance ?

Or should both be in the final track ?

Of course any other feedback as always welcome.

Shall I make a 40 min version ? This track really feels like I can make it as long as I want without really copy pasting. Just again and again a minor variation to the lead.

Also, the arpeggio part kinda was interesting. But a bit too soft.

I made several timed comment, and i understand what you mean about the answer variation. The thing is -some- are 'breakers' but some are also great makers. What i think is that you perhaps should keep some and omit others. That would be a creative decision to select those that are really good 'keepers' and omit those that are not.

40 mins is rubbish, but you still need a breakdown, buildup and euphoria, so ~15 to 20 mins could be -or you have to 'concentrate' the whole track. That is actually a problem i have with something that i made mostly by accident, i can upload later at home :p

I was not serious about those 40 minutes, as in that I am gonna make a 40 min track, but I could do it. I am pretty sure though we won't find anybody including me interested in that. This track has how ever something I was after, when I listening to certain trance. Its very much like listening to a mix. A few hits are mixed over an almost constant beat.
You could keep this going on for ever......

I have to think about you're feedback about the drowning of the melody.
I have been lowering the volume for days to have this sound. I am afraid to kill that. The rather dominate bass.
There is a mild LFO on the melody synth (triple os)

15 min sounds like a good time to aim for. I should be able to keep it interesting for 15 min, without at least for the melody, too much copy pasting.

My suggestion, is to take your time.

Small update:
Made the melody synth a tad louder.

Deleted the arpeggio part, and I now have a 7 min 25 sec long track. For now happy about the time-line.

Zeven minutes and 25 seconds is fine because it still needs a breakdown.
If I want to make it longer, I just need to add another variation.

Deleted half the answers in the last part, so now its question, question answer, question question, answer.
Done some frequency cutting, just to make room for the kicks and bassline.

Still thinking about how to get a good climax in the end, adding more notes is not enough.
