So you've finally updated, your music making Journal.
I was starting to wonder, when would the next chapter of your musical journey, be written?
He! He! 8-)
Here is another chapter. Already ones tried to cover Vangelis but failed big time.

This time the start however is not bad at all. Probably need a different brass like sound though.
84 bpm :o

Have to make up my mind if I go for this triple oscilator bell or a zynaddsubFX one.
The brass sound is ZynaddsubFX. (stoles the notes from a a you tube vid)

Sounding good so far. :)

I just watched the original vid you linked.
Not my type of music, but I'll say it's rather quite interesting. It does have a very old school spacey vibe to it. :)
But I must admit, after listening to the original, it really does kinda sound like a precursor, to the trance, ambient and edm music, we hear nowadays. Kinda like Popcorn song. He! He! :D
Oh, you should post your version, in the Music Projects section.
That way, everyone could see it and make their observations. :)
Music project section ?

And yes, it was kraftwerk, Jean Michel Jarre and Vangelis, that paved the way for modern edm. I should mention Kitaro too although he is less well known as the others I mentioned. And I am prob forgetting a few. Like Gorgio Moroder.
Not to mention the real original, Tangerine Dream and perhaps even Wendy Carlos who did a lot to popularise Moog synths ;).

Here. viewforum.php?f=5 :)

Oh and don't forget Skaven.
He also did the OST music, for the super famous Bejewelled 2 game.

Some space sounding trance music, has some elements, from the bejewelled 2 music track. wink wink. ;)

Love that game. 8-)
you do realize I don't like game music in general ? lol

I ones had an Atari ST and I don't miss the sounds from the games from that time.
Although I do have mame installed, so I can play the original pac man.

Although I do have mame installed, so I can play the original pac man, but that's not music.

I am impressed to some point about what skaven did after listening to it, but don't like that music at all. It sounds too 8 bit for me.

I might prob one of these days upload a version of aplha, but for now I only have a small start.
I am already on the hunt of the sheet music, but that does not seem to be so simple. I did find a synthesia vid though.
The vid were I got to notes from only show small pieces. :)

Lol!
Somehow I kinda sensed that. Especially when it comes to chiptune music posted by Lmms users etc. He! He!

How does that soundtrack sound 8 bit?
Okay, well, to a tinee tiny certain extent, after listening to it again, I could kinda a bit understand, why you called that Bejewelled 2 OST track that. Lol!
