Capacity of computer not to crash LMMS

Anything that doesn't fit into other topics goes here!
On my desktop PC, I have a dual core too, tho I run on 64bit.
I can't afford using too many tracks, expecially too many zynaddsubfx and vsts. The problem is in my cpu.
But if others say that a dual core can still do it, it's ok.

If you are going to buy a new computer, keep in mind that LMMS is not complete on OSX. See the information at the end of the page here:

I'd rather take another pc. I'm doing really well with an i5 Lenovo Flex 2, that is very affordable, has a ong battery and you can buy it easily from USA or UK. To buy it in Italy, I had to do some things and I got american keyboard xD But it's fine.
I don't use it when I'm at home since I'm used to a large screen.
8GB RAM is currently considered more than enough for any consumer task on a typical PC
:O ... i would hope so
I humbly list my hardware...

\rant-mode
2 TWO gb ram - But i do not use win8 where resources are spend on buhbah idiotics and a resourse-tree with some 50 running good-for-nothing buhbah processes, and thats really what i hate about the 'graphical-advanced' OS : All that needed RAM used for everything else than the actual usage by user
/end of rant :p

One final recommendation : dont hibernate or sleep-mode your pc. First off, it is waste om energy, and more important: All kind of failed processes and other 'waste products' build up, and make your pc run instable and slower. Shut it completely down and cold-boot daily.
Oh, thanks, Musikbear. I thought sleep-mode did all the good deeds..... now, I know that stuff creep in while I am not watching
