I have no idea on the genre besides edm.

Well house is actually EDM. EDM is just the base of this wide varieties of genres. House and progressive House are a few examples.

This I believe is progressive house.

I made the melody, while Tweedie Bird made everything else XD. I just added a few finishing touches.

This is a nice remix.
I like the instrument playing at the start from 0 secs to 6 secs.
Nice start up.

The only thing missing is some nice "pads," in the background.

I never heard, the original version. Guess I'll check out the original version tomorrow.

Cool remix, but I do not know the original either.

Found the original, and wow, you really changed it. I like the more aggressive sound you gave it.

I at first only knew about CapDan's remix, until I searched the original and found it in slower tempo.
