This song is also a bit of my inspiration. I'm trying to imitate the choir at the beginning. A very soft and high pitched one but when I use the choirs from zyn, they just sound too synthesized.

Yep.
Vst choir sounds, always in most cases, sound too synthesized and in many cases, they sound fake too.
But they sometimes, come in handy.

It is possible, that they might, have used a filter effect on that choir sound and possibly some reverb,
to get that airy effect.
Believe it or not, these days I'm trying to make choir sounds, for a music project of mine.
The hard part, is trying to get it to sound right.

Wooah! Interesting sound.
I'll be honest, I have no ideaZ how to make that sound, in Synth 1 or any other synth.
The best advice I can give you for now, is to find a free sample of that sound on the net.

If anyone has any tips or tricks, on how to make this sound, feel free to tell us.

You can get a lot of good effects similar to that and some brilliant thunder noises from the free https://www.kvraudio.com/product/sounds ... e_by_xoxos (some good tweety birds and insects too).

Windows only, but I use them all the time in my ambient/chill stuff. A bit of thunder well down in the background mix is great for a darkish atmosphere.
