Lmms comes already with calf plug-ins. They don't look so nice as the ones from calf studio gear page, but reverb, an equalizer, a compressor, a stereo enhancer, a bass booster, and some more stuff I have to figure out yet, are there.

As far as I know those work on windows too.

Fabla is an LV2 (linux) plugin. In LMMS linux you can use Carla as an host for other plugins

1)Load Carla-Rack (or Carla-Patchbay) from the instrument-plugins
2)From Carla plugin load the Fabla plugin

a bit cumbersome but it works quite well

Note: I use Carla-Rack most of the time but if you want to do some more complicated plugin/audio routing you can use the Patchbay version.

btw Ardour is updated to version major stability improvements with midi and plugins

Drumpad view?

Hello,
may I come in to this discussion on Fabla?

I was able to get Fabla into the lmms track using the carla rack.

But whenever I try to load a wav-based sample, nothing really happens.

How could I debug this problem?
