Thank you, will check out those vids again.
Started to work on something else, and I love it.

I need help / feedback though.

I think its clear what I am trying to do at 3m10 sec, but as you can hear I fail. Some pointers on how to fix this would be appreciated.

Am I deviating to much from the hook ? (if that's the right word)
Or am I just not deviating right ?

I can listen to this for hours, so it seems to get me into a trance.
Bit worried about the percussion too, but I think it does not sound that bad?

Please be critical. :D

Slightly of topic, I am a bit jealous of people like John Lord.
He does not seem to have my problems, at all. :P
Beethoven never sounded that good.

second up for eino, you have progressed a lot!
I like what you do at 1:12 -good
at 1:50 you go the a breakdown, that never really is one, i find that part weak
at 3:10, yes i know what you think, and i can also hear disharmony - perhaps looking at the bass in this section?
Try to find notes that dont 'clash', and have nicer sounds in chords
(remove my tags from sC if you like
Thank you.

I don't mind the feedback on soundcloud.
Although its fun, people like and share my music, for the feedback I need, soundcloud is not use-full at all.

About that breakdown, you are right, I still struggle a lot with transitions.
( last nite when listening to abba, I had an aha moment. They drop the melody, and have a few extra drum hits, to make a transition.
It sounds so easy, but I struggle to create them.)

Its funny how making music changes the way I listen to music, although I know those songs already for years.

About that bassline, I have already found the biggest problem. It goes up were the melody goes down.
I do not know if this is always wrong, but in this case it clearly is.

So I need to find nicer chords, thank you. I was worried for a moment, I was not going in the right direction at all.
If you use the LMMS sharing platform, It will be easier to see your work , and pinpoint issues, and makeup.
Link from one of mine.
Thank I will upload the track, and maybe some more. I have already fixed a lot though, I might even have a nice transition to the break.
Its very amusing, that me as a hip hop fan, has issues making breaks.

Can I take it to the bridge? To quote james brown in sex machine.

I did download that turkisch thing you made, and I could not figure out in what key it was played LOL.
Some part looked like A minor but when I set the scale to that, it wont fit all tracks.

I did it in C major A minor.
Aha, that explains it, thank you. So I was right in assuming it was not written in just one key.

And here is the latest version.
There is one part, I am not sure about yet, might need some fine tuning. (melody vs baseline)
Around 6 minutes, that still needs work. Or maybe more parts ?

C-Major and A-Minor uses exactly the same notes: Only white-keys
If you remember my video on chord/scales relationships,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZEgx-_hMFYg
you maybe remember that chords in a key will change from minor to major as we go through all the scales notes
The Key of the piece is determined by the dominant bass-part
Thank you, and yes I remember that vid. The dominant bass-part determining the key is something I need to remember.

I wont hurt looking at that vid again though.
