You're definitely starting to get the hang of it— the rhythm is on point, and you have a cool wobble bass going on there. I would just add a little more background (I know that it's a WIP, but still). A high hat and arpeggio part would be a nice touch.
There is room for improvement on the "melody" of the drop though. I can't quite put my finger on it, but something just sounds a little...weird. I didn't get the sense of a chord progression, yet the notes were changing.

with the melody I recommend making the melody less "spaced out" because for a drop you want the melody to be fairly quick and you need it to escalate to a certain fixture of a melody.
Hey slipstick. I know that ACYDE did somewhat explain it but here's something more in simple turns: A drop is used to make a transition between tracks usually requiring a certain escalation of pitch and speed of the melody or bass or percussion.

I heard your track over and over, and I guess the easiest way to do what you're trying is to add a couple of kicks about half a beat after the snares in your drop, just as in the OVERWERK track you posted... Also, you could try adding just one more snare after the last one, then start adding the kicks.
I loved your music, BTW... Keep up the great work. Hope I see you performing at Tomorrowland someday...
