Great progress on the strings. making the notes shorter was a great tip, but I was still not happy.
The solution was to have have them, on the third count. ( like some other tracks in the song) which gives the song a reggae like sound.

Main bassline is still very not reggae, but I am not sure I want to change that. It could do with more variation though.
Maybe I should use more steps in the bbe. I am at 8 but 12 or 16 will give more room to any variation.

I am happy with it. Changed the strings some more(octave up) added a phazer, and made a variation in the melody.
Done some final mixing.

Feedback as always very welcome.

Hi Guys

I am a bit worried if I am not out of tune. My ears seems to be happy, but I want to know if you guys agree.
I did something note wise, I have never done before, and it makes me nervous. :P
Its only 1 min and only a start.

I think I found it, changed one track to a choir sound.
Now back to be in between part. Still not happy about that.

Much improved version, at least I think so, changed quite a bit, and made it less slow.
Started at 100bpm, but right now its at 120bpm.

Could really use some feedback. Am I the only one who think this is beautiful ?
How can I improve?

If people are interested in the lmms file, just tell me, but if I am sure I am finished, I will prob upload it to lmms share.

I would keep the choir sounds, and soften it just a little. The fantasy bells are at a good level, I would change the other instruments to sound softer, or replace them with softer instruments. like a flute, french horns, etc.
You need to soften some instruments to highlight the melody not take away from it.

Thank you, this is really helping me. :) After reading you’re reply, and looking at my piece, I found one problem.
I was trying to create a thicker sound, but over did it. (with a phazer and an eq)
A french horn sounds interesting. That sound prob will fit better.

The latest version, I think I am done.
Changed some choirs I tried to add, that did not work out at all, now to me it fits nice with the rest of the song and the other choir, which was already there.
Like to thank Eino, for his remark about not hiding the melody.
