Yep.
I have friends that want me to use Fruityloops, Albeton or Cubase instead of lmms.

They fail to explain to me why though.

Cubase I can understand a bit, but fruity loops ?
Because is has more presets ?
Well, I must admit Fruity Loops does have alot of cool presets.
And alot of really cool internal plugins and tons of free updates too.
Which would probably explain, why alot of newbie FL Studio users and pro's, are so mesmerised by that software.
But some of these users, are mesmerised by certain DAW's for the wrong reasons.

In my case, a European dj and his pal, who I encountered a few times, during the August holidays, asked me,
why was I using that software called Lmms. Instead of Cubase, Fruity Loops, or one of the other DAW's.
When he asked me that, I was like ,....."Whaaaaaaat?!"
I didn't know what to say, but it took me a while to explain to him, that Lmms, is a good musical DAW and it's and fun to use too. :)
They fail to explain to me why though.
I'll never understand why some DAW users do that.
Another thing I've noticed, is that some of these users, have a tendency to jump from DAW to DAW.

Next time they tell you that, ask them for a good explanation. I'm curious to hear too. Ha! Ha!

All three of those software you mentioned, are good.
But some people hate Lmms, because, like Blender, they see alot alot alot and alot of potential in it too. :)

My personal favorite softwares are Blender, LMMS (Duh), and audacity
Okay Gps, last night, I finally checked out your project file, you linked me to. And I downloaded the preset packs too.
I must say, nice music dude. I listened to it a few times.

The problem as I mentioned before, is in the start of the song track. The rest of your music track was always good.

I discovered some out of key notes, only in the 10th bar, of your Synth 1 melody.
I'm not sure if you did that deliberately though, because I heard some musicians deliberately do stuff like that, in their tracks.
I think I saw the same error, in the 10th bar of that zynaddsub FX pad too. But I understand why.

After fixing that small, so called 10th bar mistake:
I then made a copy of your Synth 1 melody and zynaddsubFX pads, and made a high pitched version, of both, by raising it one note, while keeping your main note melody structure, for both of them.

So you have the small fixed original version. And a higher pitched raised note version of both Synth 1 melodies.

Also, I didn't change your melody structure or anything.
Because I remember, you mentioned you and others, liked how it sounded. And I'll agree, I like how your version sounds too.
Your version sound better! :)

So far, everything you did, was really good and in tune. No complaints from me.

Also, I deleted all of the other instruments, so it'll be less of a distraction, so when I upload it either tomorrow, or some time later this week, it'll be easier for you to check out the fixes and listen too.

I'm going to check it out again tonight. And make sure, all is well.

PS: Sorry I took so long. The internet, stopped functioning for a few days. And I was so busy these past two weeks, making Synth 1 presets, my Lmms projects and doing other things too.
Pretty good Gps :D
Don't apologize you're trying to help me, so thank you.

If you find out of scale notes, it def a mistake so not on purpose but, first part is in a different key then the last part. :P

I had a quick look, first part is in c major second part is F mayor. I did not see out of scale notes, but I only had a quick look.

Looking forward to your work. :)

I ones tried blender and I totally hated that interface.

I should prob give it another try, because I remember more people were not happy, and they were going to change stuff.

I have used 3D studio max and some pro cad programs (Acad, Catia, Solidworks) but with blender I was only fighting the interface.

I also remember people loving the interface, so as usual you cant please everybody.
The deal with blender is that it may be broken it certain areas, it can make video games, special effects, videos, animations, and even sound editing!

The interface may not be the best but, like LMMS, you can't give up on it first try ;)
What I tried to do was to make a simple Enterprise 3D model, from star trek the next generation.
If did not need much details, because if would only be seen from a distance, in the game Alien vs Predator 2.

I made custom maps for this game, one of them was the enterprise, for a capture the flag mod.

From the bridge we wanted to see the other enterprise were the other flag was.

The inside you see is done by me, the model was made by some one else.
I gave up after a few days of fighting the interface.

=ARC= Gps thats me :P

About the housetrack, I think I was able to mix the house track better. Some cut off around 125 khz and a bit more boosting of the lower part.

Well honestly, you're giving yourself feedback, which I think is perfect. Music is made from only your perspective.
