Okay! Thanks bruh!
Okay. I'm working on the Growl sound and a few others right now.
They'll be posted, sometime this week. :)
Tutorial: 10

Today we make a:
Brandy's Gator Croaking Growly bass sound

First off
Image

Then, take off all LFO's etc.
In other words the numbers 1 and 2 and Tempo and Key must all be off,
or not lit up, like in the pic shown.
Image

-----------------------------------------------------------

1) Put Osc 1 on sine wave.
Image

And osc 2 on Saw wave.
Image

Leave sub on sine wave.
Image

--------------------------------------------------------

2) Turn the FM dial, to 52 or 53.
Note: Don't touch the Det dial. We are not using that.
Image

---------------------------------------------------------

3) Turn on m.env
Image
Note: Both Track and m.env must be lighted green.

A = 30
D = 78
amt = 12

In the dest. section we are not using osc2 or p/w.
So instead, we select FM.
Image

----------------------------------------------------------

4) Turn the Mix dial to 98.2
Turn the P/W dial to 74
Image

----------------------------------------------------------

5) In the Amplifier Section
Image
A = 60
Vel = 51

----------------------------------------------------------

6) Filter Section
Image
Freq = 78
Res = 5
Sat = 85

Leave Vel on.

----------------------------------------------------------

7) Select LP12 or LP24
Image

---------------------------------------------------------

8 ) In the Tempo Delay Section (Not the Chorus Flanger Section)
Image

Turn the dials
fdbk = 48
d/w = 18

--------------------------------------------------------

9) Switch Unison on
And don't turn any of the dials seen in the pic.
Image

-------------------------------------------------------

10) This part is Optional. And makes the Toad Croaking bass sound. :D

Now lets head to the LFO Section.

Image
Press the 1 button, to turn it on. Yellow means, it is on.
Select the Ramp looking wave shown in the pic. It looks like an upside down V. :D
And click on the Key button, to turn the Key ability on. (It turns Green)

Spd dial = 24
amt dial = 29
Change from osc1,2............ to FM. FM gives us the croaking bass sound.

Use the screen shot below for reference.

This is a screenshot, of how the Gator Croaking Growly bass should look.
Image

---------------------------------------------------

In the Piano roll, make a single long whole note, from C2, or anywhere below it, to hear, how the
Croaking Gator Toad Growl bass actually sounds.

Or, make a few short notes from anywhere, between C2 or C1 range etc.

It may not be the best Growl bass sound, but it can sure fit into dubstep music. :)
Have fun dudes. 8-)
Wait to leave us in suspense, Brandy. Haven't tried making it yet.

I will when I can B)

Ha! Ha! I'm a suspense King. 8-)

The good news is, the Toad Croaking Bass Growl tut is finally finished. Yay!! :)

This tut, would have been fully up sooner. But for some odd reason, imgur kept crashing my PC and it
was really frustrating to have my PC, crash or freeze up 8 times, in a row. :P
Now that's a world record. Lol :P

The tut is complete and anyone can make the full growl sound now.
But, I still just have one more pic to put up.
It may not be the best unique sounding Growl sound, but,...I tried as best as I could. :P

I shall try to make, another Bass growl tut as time passes.
So enjoy! 8-)
Lead sound tut, coming tomorrow. :)
Tutorial 11

How to easily make a:
Lead synth sound
(Yep. This was highly requested)

1) First off, we find a default soundbank.
Image

And we take off all LFO's etc.
In other words the numbers 1 and 2 and Tempo and Key button, must all be off,
or not lit up, like in the pic shown.
Image

---------------------------------------------------
2) Set Osc 1, to the saw sign.
Image

This is the Saw symbol, for Osc 1.
Image

---------------------------------------------------
3) Turn the FM dial to 24.
Image
We want this sound to sound nice.

---------------------------------------------------
4)We turn the Mix dial, fully all the way to the Left.
Because, we only want to use Osc 1. :)
Image
Leave the other dials in their default position.

Note: Turning the mix dial fully left, means, we only use Osc 1.
Turning it fully right, means we only use Osc 2.
If we leave the dial to the center, it uses both Osc 1 and Osc 2. :|

----------------------------------------------------
5) Amplifier Section
Image
A = 14
R = 52

The reason we reduce the R dial, is to give the effect and make the notes, cut off a bit anytime they play.
Especially, if we're going to make melodies, where the notes are close together.

----------------------------------------------------
6) Now we go to the Filter Section.
Image

Frq = 27
res = 12
sat = 36

---------------------------------------------------
7) Select LP24 Yee hah!!
Image

---------------------------------------------------
8 ) Now we go to the Tempo Delay Section
Do you see the blue letters marked ST?
Well, click on it and select X.
Image

We are using X for this synth sound. Because X sounds really cool for this sound.

Turn the following dials, located by the Tempo Delay Section.
fdbk = 84........or lower it to something like 70, or less, if you don't want much feedback.
d/w = 40 or less etc.

Don't touch any of the dials in the Chorus Flanger Section, unless you want to experiment,
with making new sounds.

----------------------------------------------------
9) Now we're going to make our lead sound Fat.
If you don't want to make your lead sound fatter, then ignore step 9. :D

Go here and look for the Unison button.
Image
The Unison Button makes a sound, sound FAT and Wide. :D
Like a Fat Boy Cake. Lol! :D
And we want to make this lead sound fat. :D

Press the Unison button until the circle on the left side, is bright green.
Bright green means it is on.
Image

-----------------------------------------------------
10) Press keys, make chords, or Arpeggios etc. in the piano roll and enjoy!
Image

Image

And there you have it. An easy made Lead sound.
Enjoy! 8-) :D
Hey Brandy. I've noticed you have names for your Synth1 soundbanks, rather than just soundbank01, etc. How do you get Synth1 to let you rename these?

Sorry I took so long to respond. I'll make a tut on it and post it here, so everyone can see it. :D
New tuts coming soon. So don't miss it. ;)
