So I made partly as an experiment, partly to learn and partly just for fun a track entirely in 9/8 time.
LMMS has pretty good controls for doing weird time signatures, with a few caveats... the note grid goes weird and inaccurate with uneven times like this, the notes no longer hit the correct grid squares in the piano roll. It's only a cosmetic flaw though, functionally the grid works as it's supposed to. A bit annoying, but not anything that can't be overcome.
