Hey, I've been using LMMS for a couple years now, and now I'm beginning to divulge into making soundtracks for an independent filmmaker friend of mine. Anyone know of any good royalty-free soundfonts that could be used for such a purpose?

Thanks in advance!

Hi! :D

Just found these sites:
Note: Read the "terms of use, for these soundfonts," just in case.

http://www.flamestudios.org/free/Soundfonts

http://www.hammersound.net/
Hammer sounds always seem to be the most popular site recommended by musicians. :D

http://beatproduction.net/ I get alot of cool stuff here too.

Hope that helps.

Bye. 8-)

Oh yeah, I forgot. :?
If you're looking for Vst's for both personal and commercial use.
Check out DSK Vst's. They're like the best so far.
And if you didn't know about Synth 1, you'll like that too.
Synth 1 works well in Lmms.

And also, if you want to know what DSK Vst's work well in LMMS, check out my DSK VST breakdown list.....
DSK VSTs That work in Lmms 0.4.13 Enjoy! By Brandy Starbrite in the Generals Section of this same Forum.
It's Easy to find. Lol!
They're in Alphabetical order, making it easier for anyone to look up their favourite DSK VST.

It took 2 to 3 months to test those VST's. And lots of hard work and patience. :geek:

Most of them are there, only 14 more left to test out. Lol!
By the way,..................this DSK list is for anyone using LMMS 0.4.13.

Hope you enjoy!
