LMMS just dissapears

Anything that doesn't fit into other topics goes here!
Occasionally when I'm working on a tune, LMMS will just disappear. I'm pretty sure it's the segmentation fault. But it gets on my nerves. I usually save it every minute or so to avoid losing everything. But sometimes I'll be working on a tune and forget to save, and the blam, it's all gone. Just wondering if there's a way to stop it disappearing. When I updated LMMS using PPA it updated to 0.4.14. I understand there is a 0.4.15, but I can't seem to get that version. Could be because I'm still on Ubuntu Lucid Lynx.
If you start lmms from the command line it can generate information for further debugging.
Add the kxstudio ppa, then you can update to 0.4.15. I did that on my 2nd machine that has Mint 13 XFCE on it, which also only has .4.10 on the repos.

But the kxstudio ppa only go to 0.4.12 for lucid. He should settle with that I think.

Where did you get the 0.4.14 package from?

When I updated PPA via the terminal:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:dns/sound

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install lmms

The next time I opened lmms it was on version 0.4.14
I must say you... have a lot of trouble with LMMS?
