I'm unable to replicate this problem. I ran a test using Audacity 1.3.12 (Beta) and LMMS 0.4.6 in Ubuntu 10.04 LTS:
1) I opened an ogg and an mp3 file in Audacity. Then, I exported them to separate ogg files.
2) I opened LMMS then loaded the exported oggs into separate samples. The ogg samples seemed to work.

! interesting, i'm on win32.. could there be a difference..
I will upload the ogg later, then you can test that file and see if you can use it. On my system there is nothing loaded, and no errors displayed.
Tested in both sample-track and audiofile-processor.
btw -I have no problems loading other ogg files
BR.

edit-----
HA!
I tried to upload the file and got an error:
"Filename contain unknown charachters"
Ahhhh! See that was the reason. LMMS diddent reconized the letters in the danish alphabet (neither did the upload-service), and would not load the ogg for that reason!
Morale: dont use anything not in the english aschi codepage!
Problem soved, lesson learned :D
Thanks for your input!
