Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
hi i m kmio, french so i m sorry for my english i m trying my best ^^

It s my first steps on LMMS, i usually work with cubase/reason with another computer, external soundcard and real instruments but for now i just wanna make some electronical instrumentals for a project so i searched for a known freeware and i found LMMS

I got problem with clicking when i play instrumentals i wrote on virtual keybord.

At the beginning i didnt have sound at all or hard noisy sounds, so i increase the memory, now i have sound but horrible clicking on almost every sharps. i even tryed to allow the max memory but still no changes

I got the last version of the soft, and i actually use triple osci, default setting to try the soft and looks for interface before doing anything more and it s a bad start... i also tryed using different instruments like violin, keyboard and stuff but i still eard click in a differents way, like vynil crushes

I eard some stuff maked with LMMS so i know it s on me ^^, probably some setting so i just set all by default exept for audio interface (that dosnt work if i dont choose lds)

I m on win7 32 bits, and i got a motherboard soundcard

i tryed to modify attack, volume and lots of stuff but nothing, i wrote and recorded a little line so you could ear what i mean http://toutbox.fr/kmio/Suffocate,1007098.ogg

well thx if u can help me (and thx for those who readen until there, your eyes must be bleeding ^^)
Try to change the audio backend. SDL works good on windows, ALSA if you're on Linux.
Check soundcard drivers. Get the soundcard driver latest update.
Try increasing the buffer size in "general settings" by single increments. check if problem disappears.

Try lowering sample rate if still having issues.

I recommend having a play with Vestige and loading Synth1 VST instead of triple OSC.

I have another problem with LMMS (key pitch is wrong with VSTs not Triple OSC) on 64bit Windows 7 but I do not get what you have described here, even if I opened lots of VSTs at same time.
Also from memory every single VST I have tried so far in LMMS has worked. HOWEVER Only Synth1 has not suffered the pitch issue. It seems super compatible! :D
