Vibed is not working

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
WARNING: This song makes very loud noises in random places. Speaker and hearing damage may result. My suggestion is that you DO NOT LISTEN! I know that seems weird to say, but I just don't want to take any blame and I care about your safety :) I am not responsible for damages. You have been warned. So listen to it at your own risk.

OK, now if you are so kind, I will ask you to please listen to it despite the warning. However that does not mean it is safe and that you should. But for the progress of mankind and my music and possibly yours, and a part of entrepreneurship, will you take a risk and please listen to it. If you do listen to it turn the volume way down, please. if you listen and know the problem that would be very much appreciated.

Loud noises happen unexpectedly, and happen frequently at measure 35 and other places. I have no idea why. And to make matters worse, this is my best preset i ever have made. i have a feeling
that it is vibed doing it.

Again,

LISTEN AT YOUR OWN RISK

VERY LOUD NOISES

Thank you for your help!

I did not want to take up space so I apologize if I don't have your language.
i must admit - i diddent listen, but i dont have to, cause i know this problem. the reason is 'wavestacking' ..kind of the same that can happend in oceans that results in monster-waves. In sound it is however a resonance stack, and it is simple to fix, with a limiter.
You can either use the 'hard limiter' or FastLookAheadLimiter. The others has artefact problems. Experiment with the values.
Br.
I disagree to an extent.

If there are problems in the song that causes extreme clipping, it's better to fix the problems in their roots, rather than attempt to "patch things up" with a limiter. Figure out the parts that cause clipping/stacking and adjust the volumes, maybe apply compressors to the individual instruments or their fx channels if there's lots of unwanted variation in the volume (which can be caused by many things, eg. variations in polyphony, filters, etc.).

IMHO, master limiters (and compressors and levelers) are something that should be applied at the mastering stage, after rendering, to fix small imperfections, not to fix huge clipping issues. This also has the advantage that you can look at the entire rendered waveform at once and see the peaks and levels in visual form, and adjust the limiters/compressors accordingly. Much easier than trying to stare at peak meters while playing the song in realtime.
Hmm...this is more complicated than I hoped
But thanks! I will try.
