Hi Everyone

Ive just tried LMMS on an Archlinux machine and an Elementary Linux (Ubuntu) machine....Nothing I do seems to make the inputs available in Jack in order to Record a new sample.

Iam running an M-Audio 2496 sound card.

In all other applications Qtractor, Ardour, or Hydrogen all inputs and outputs show up in Jack (qjackctl) .

Hovever for LMMS only the outputs show !

Any Ideas Im stumped...

Thanks Steve.

LMMS does not support audio recording at this time. It's on the roadmap though.

If you need to record audio, you're going to need something like Ardour or Qtractor.

Or Audacity. You can put the recorded file into LMMS if you save it as .wav or .ogg
