Strange crackling when playing 2+ keys simultaneously.

LMMS works fine on my laptop, but when I hop onto my desktop (I installed it here because I'd have a bit more power, space, and maybe room for a MIDI controller), there's this weird thing that happens.

I always test the 3xOsc at the beginning. Playing a single sine wave tone works fine. Then, the moment I play 2 or more keys at once, it's as if the waves collide with each other and produce a really nasty farty crackling sound.

I've tried out the different audio settings, but to no avail. Has anyone else had this problem?

My only guess is that it may have something to do with my audio drivers.

Nah, that's just normal clipping.

Add a compressor to your instrument or fx channel. Or just turn down the volume.
