does it work in the Beat + Bass editor?
also can i automate a parameter of an instrument in the B + B just for some selected bars?

No, why would it? It's song-global, and when you play just a bb-track, the song isn't playing.
You can put automation in bb-tracks, then if you put that bb-track in the song, they'll work the same way as any other automation and can automate anything.

Didn't quite catch your questions, abcde111.
When you play a song automations inside a B&B track will loop. Global automation affects the drums in the same matter as instruments in the Song Editor.
