lmms-0.4.15-win32

Anything that doesn't fit into other topics goes here!
Have downloaded lmms-0.4.15-win32 and 64 and really looking forward to using it. But when I double click on the Application or desk top shortcut I get an error message, "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way. Please contact the application support team for more information." Any ideas or help would be appreciated.
You're not using windows 8 by any chance?
No. It's Windows 7?
Did you try to install LMMS into a directory other than the default? Try uninstalling and then reinstalling to the default directory.

While you're at it, get the latest version instead:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/lmms/f ... ms/0.9.92/

Or just wait for the release of 1.0.0, which should be this week.

That should be good.
Hi! Thank you for your replies and suggestions. I have now downloaded and installed LMMS 1.0.0 and for some reason, when I go to run the program, I still get the same ERROR message: "Microsoft Visual C++Runtime Library - This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information." I have tried running a Clean Boot, reinstalling and running the program that way. I have Reset Internet Explorer Settings (I'm on IE11), through the Help Menu and by running Microsoft Fixit 50195. I have run System File Checker (SFC.exe) and got the reply "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations".

I went online to Windows Help Desk and explained the problem. They suggested that I should contact Linux to resolve the problem!

So, don't know what to do next? Can you help???

You must install LMMS to the default directory provided by the installer. Also you can only have one version of LMMS installed at a time on windows. Windows is kind of stupid that way.
