Solar Buffer (Short Sketch) -- New song, looking for ideas

I'm working on this little melody which I think is quite pleasant, but I'm not totally happy with the sounds I'm using. Any suggestions?

I personally find it sounds pretty good.
And the sounds you used, suits this tune well.
