Exporting ZynAddSubFX Instruments

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
I am having trouble exporting LMMS instruments in the .xiz and .xmz formats (these are ZynAddSubFX-native instrument files). When I open the ZynAddSubFX GUI and click on "File" and "Save All Parameters..." or I click on "Instrument" and "Save Instrument..." the file browser dialog never comes up and the ZynAddSubFX window begins to spazz out (going from an active state to an inactive state really fast, as if the file browser window is opening and closing really fast) and I eventually have to kill the program. Perhaps there is a way that I can take a LMMS-native .xpf instrument file and extract the data into one of the aforementioned files?

I am using LMMS version 1.1.3 on Windows 10 64-bit edition.

There is indeed issues with the UI of ZynAddSubFX- (zasfx) inside lmms.
Some can be caused by not using lmms as real administrator -Eg lmms need to be initiated from right-click and 'run as administrator'
That is not a really good idea, though
Instead, you can choose to run zasfx as VST!
I explain how in this video:
