Chiptune sound help

Hi again!

I've been trying to get back into Chiptune stuff and have found that the built in LMMS synths for Chiptune haven't been able to create the sound i want, I'm looking for that sort crunchy and crispy type of sound, I dunno how to explain it.

Anyway, there's a few examples here:
http://chipzel.co.uk/track/otis at 00:00 - 00:15, 01:14 - 01:25
http://chipzel.co.uk/track/courtesy 00:00 - 00:10, 00:14 - 00:30, 00:45 - 00:52, 01:25, 01:30, 01:50 - 02:00

These are just a few examples, but they generally get the right sound.

Thanks!

I think FxSr can ..
Synthesis is not 'just' about the actual sound, it is definitely also about the depth and bulk of the sound -Eg EQ-ing the output.
Take a look at my video

Try FxSr, but a pre-request is that you know what all/ most the various settings does, maby i should make something about that..
Buuut, if you are set not to use defaults, then there are gazillons+1 of VSTige chip-tune dlls.
Just search a site like myVST
